Woolf Farms is a small family owned and operated produce farm located in Columbiana County, Ohio. Established in 1975 by William "Buster" and Jeanne Woolf, the farm originated as a dairy farm. To supplement their income, Buster and Jeanne decided to plant peaches, strawberries, and sweet corn to sell at markets in the summer months. Tough times resulted in the decision to disband their dairy farm operation and to focus fully on raising high quality fruit and vegetables.
In 2016, Buster and Jeanne along with their son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Abby Woolf, decided to purchase Jeanne's parents fruit farm, Vincent's Orchard, located just 5 miles from their current property. The purchase not only kept the Vincent's Orchard in the family but our hope is that this expansion will enable the legacy of farming to continue for the next generation. Today, Woolf Farms encompasses over 300 acres in totality with about 200 acres actively producing fruits and vegetables. Our seasonal fruit and vegetables include: apples, peaches, nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, red and black raspberries, sour cherries, sweet cherries, plums, pears, seeded and seedless grapes, Non-GMO sweet corn, asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, sugar snap peas, potatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, and spring mix lettuce. Dale also makes fresh pressed APPLE CIDER every week and we guarantee it will be some of the best cider you will ever taste!
Life and farming are equally unpredictable. One thing we know and trust is that in every season, God will provide for our needs. And we are very blessed to say, that He always has provided. Over the years, we have been greatly blessed with the opportunity to provide high quality, fresh, and flavorful produce to our customers and we hope to earn your business for many years to come. Just as we hope you have a chance to learn about our family and farm, we hope that you will take the time to stop by and say hello to us at market. We love the chance to make new friends and build relationships with our customers and their families. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and we hope to see you at a market! May God bless you and your family.
